Hey People, isn't a story about a story that's "morally reprehensible" just as morally reprehensible?

Today, People reported that the spokesperson for the Barton family (of Mischa fame) "blasted a tabloid report that the actress's sister was hospitalized for a drug overdose." They went on to quote the family spokesperson who said writing a story about lil' Barton was inappropriate, as she's not putting herself in any kind-of spotlight.

But isn't People kind-of slyly doing the same thing by writing about it? 

Now we're probably just as bad for writing about it, too, huh?
